《中國材料科學(xué)》（SCMS）是一本涵蓋材料科學(xué)各個(gè)方面的國際同行評審期刊。該刊由中國科學(xué)院主辦，由中國科學(xué)院和國家自然科學(xué)基金共同主辦。由中國科學(xué)出版社和施普林格出版社聯(lián)合出版，月刊分印刷版和電子版?！吨袊牧峡茖W(xué)》的使命是在材料科學(xué)與化學(xué)、物理、生物、工程等學(xué)科的前沿交叉領(lǐng)域，鼓勵(lì)高質(zhì)量、創(chuàng)新的研究成果交流，特別是關(guān)注中國科學(xué)家的突破，力爭成為世界領(lǐng)先的材料科學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)期刊。期刊發(fā)表的貢獻(xiàn)類別包括：文章：同行評議，深入報(bào)道了杰出的新發(fā)現(xiàn)，這也對其他領(lǐng)域的專家具有重要和一般意義。書信：及時(shí)提供有關(guān)最新重要的小說研究和發(fā)現(xiàn)的簡短報(bào)告。評論：總結(jié)某一特定主題或領(lǐng)域的代表性成果和成就，評論當(dāng)前的研究進(jìn)展，并對未來的研究方向提出建議，這些建議應(yīng)以作者自己的研究工作為基礎(chǔ)或與之密切相關(guān)。觀點(diǎn)：對全球材料科學(xué)家感興趣的最新令人興奮的研究的簡要報(bào)告，包括對研究突破的討論以及對重要科學(xué)和資助政策的解釋。概念：新材料的概念性進(jìn)展，重點(diǎn)關(guān)注結(jié)構(gòu)設(shè)計(jì)和合成方法的創(chuàng)新思想，可能會(huì)激發(fā)未來的研究方向和突破。亮點(diǎn)：討論原始研究的非常重要的新成果，一般由第三人給出，目的是指導(dǎo)和強(qiáng)調(diào)它們的意義。對所有章節(jié)的貢獻(xiàn)通常都是受邀寫的；但是，歡迎作者主動(dòng)提交文章。只接受英文手稿。一般性的編輯咨詢和信函應(yīng)通過materials@scichina.org發(fā)給編輯。

Science China-Materials(SCMs) is an international peer-reviewed journal that covers all aspects of materials science. The journal is supervised by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and co-sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. It is jointly published monthly in both printed and electronic forms by Science China Press and Springer.The mission of SCIENCE CHINA Materials is to encourage communication of high quality, innovative research results at the cutting-edge interface of materials science with chemistry, physics, biology and engineering, especially focusing on breakthroughs made by Chinese scientists, and it is aimed to become a world-leading academic journal of materials science.Categories of contribution published in the journal include:Articles: peer-reviewed, in-depth reports of outstanding novel findings which also have important and general implications for specialists working in other fields.Letters: present short reports in a timely manner on the latest important novel research studies and findings.Reviews: summarize representative results and achievements in a particular topic or area, comment on the current research progress, and advice on the future research directions, which should be based on or closely related to the author’s own research work. Perspectives: concise reports on recent exciting research of interest to materials scientists worldwide, including discussions of research breakthroughs and interpretations of important science and funding policies.Concepts: conceptual advances of new materials, focusing on innovative ideas of structure design and synthesis approaches that may inspire future research directions and breakthroughs.Highlights: discuss on very important new results of original research, in general given by a third person, with a view to instruct and to highlight their significance.Contributions to all sections are usually written on invitation; however, authors are welcome to submit unsolicited articles.
